the Lenovo U300s

As part of the newest revolution in laptops, the Lenovo U300s has come out in front of the pack as offering one of the most feature-rich packages with a distinctive styling outside the typical silver/black motif so common to an average notebook.

The minimalist book-shaped design includes a variety of smart features, all from a single-piece aluminum shell. A cool-touch palm rest allows for extended use during those super-productive sessions, when you’d rather worry about getting work done than getting your wrists sweaty. Nicely complementing that however is the breathable keyboard, improving airflow in conjunction with the palm rest to let you worry about working and not overheating, whether on your desk or lap.

In true Lenovo fashion, these machines are no slouches when it comes to performance, despite their slim figures. Featuring 2nd Generation Intel Core CPU’s coupled with RapidDrive SSD technology (with an up to 256GB capacity), the U300s allows for the possibility to boot up in as little as a mind-boggling 11 seconds. The HD graphics chipset gives an unprecedented level of flexibility. From basic streaming to HDMI output, to the added WiDi capabilities allowing you to wireless stream content to a compatible TV (adapter required).

Such neat new features don’t end there. Lenovo’s signature RapidCharge technology also features, which allows the battery to charge up to 50 percent in as little as 30 minutes, making the up to 8 hour battery life even more remarkable. BIOS-level embedded anti-theft protection is also included, a welcome addition to give peace of mind, whether travelling or during a quick bathroom break at your local coffee shop.

All these features and more are elegantly packed into the 13.3” display-size frame, and weigh starting at just 2.9lbs. Color options for Graphite Gray or Clementine Orange colors give you a more personalized feel, whether you want the look of a smart business-minded machine or an outlandish more personal statement.
